Ahhhh! So the recycling business is booming in California, according to this morning’s Yahoo!NEWS, “SACRAMENTO (CBS13) -- The recycling business is booming in California, and consumers are recycling at a rate of 82 percent which is the highest in the nation.”

The story is about some unlikely people doing what they feel is necessary to survive.  The little money made from recycling is a welcome supplement to whatever they can make from wherever.  It maybe just enough to pay for gas, to and fro, but it helps.

"Every little bit adds up, digging through garbage cans isn't fun bit you do what you gotta do," explains Warren.  According to the article, “after getting laid off this nicely dressed, well-educated single dad realized dumpster diving was one of the few ways he could put food on the table for his girls.”  When that realization settled in Warren went to work.

Warren as the article explained worked as a network hardware engineer for nine years, and then he got laid off.  Laid off, yes laid off is the culprit behind Warren’s plight.  Now you must know that, that is not unique to Warren.  It happens every day and it may happen to you too.
